wow! what a day man! had a performance today at Tampines Mall, for the SYF thingi... haha... played samba, and i was leading! my first show leading the band for samba... all in all, it went great! but!let me just tell you what happened... we left school around 1030 in the morning, when we arrived, we went to the Open Plaza on the fourth floor and sat and waited... waited... and waited... w w a w a i w a i t w a i t e w a i t e d.......... until around 3 plus! don't know why we were there so early... anyways, Some of us had to go out into TM to urge the crowd to come watch the performance... ok la, not that bad... BUT!!!!!! we walked around the third and fourth floor, summore Juraimi kept on gooing to the people and started talking to them, i mean, come on la! im already embarrassed enough walking around TM and jamming, but no!!!! he just had to do more!! when we got back to the performing area, we were on stand-by mode...... hahahha... i had to go up to receive a Certificate of participation from the Guest of Honour... then waited for our turn to perform... i think there was 6 groups ahead of us... by the time it was our turn, my heart was thumping! i was on stage first, doing answer and call with the rest of the band, and you know what?!?!?!?! I DROPPED MY STICK!!!!!!! AHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHH!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! THAT'S THE WORST THING THAT CAN HAPPEN ON STAGE!!!!!! i was like "SHIT SHIT!!!!! Nevermind! Act cool!!!" hahahahhaaha... then when the band was on stage, i gave them the que to start... then play play play... when it was time for the interaction part wiht the audience, THE MIKE FAILED ON ME!!!!! i had a feeling that would happen.... i was like, "the mike's not working... CONFIRM!" and it did! there was no sound... so! nevermind... act cool again... haha, i had to scream at the audience la! no choice... luckily they interacted with me, or else i would have been some cukoo clapping by myself on stage... but even though there were swrew ups, the whole thing went well!! the audience enjoyed the performance! (practically the entire thing was inpromptu la......) well, i have another performance tomorrow! doing the same thing again... samba, interaction.... bla bla... well, i will do my best!!
