Hey everyone!!! I'm back from Taman Negara! Oh my God, it was so fun!!

The journey there was really long man... We all met up in school first and Fikri's parents were there to send him off! Haha, it was his first trip out of Singapore without his parents. So we all had some breakfast and chatted for a while. Then we all boarded the bus and we were off! Went past the checkpoint, and after that was the longest part of the trip. We took several pit-stops and at every pit-stop, the smokers club will go out and take a puff... The smokers club comprises of Sonny, Khalis and Benjamin... Every single pit-stop they will smoke man! *sigh* Anyway... The funny part about the bus ride was every time one group will be awake making noise while the other will be asleep... Its like we we're all taking shifts! :P We reached Jerantut around 5 plus (I think) and we had dinner at a hostel before making our way again to Taman Negara. The campsite wasn't that bad at least... Bunk beds and a tiny little toilet... And the water was really cold! Its like bathing in ice water! The first night we had a night walk through the jungle. It was really cool! We saw centipedes and stick insects and scorpions! Then we walked to a shelter and the guide, Uncle Bob, showed us a deer! I can't remember what kind of deer it was but yup! We saw it! After that, we called it a night and we all went back to our bunks....

Second day was... Trekking, the canopy walk, the cave exploration, and a visit to the Orang Asli village! The canopy walk was really high man! And I was screaming half the time because the bridge kept on shaking :P But it was really fun! After that we went back for some lunch and we trekked up to the cave... And may I say, the cave was disgusting!! the rocks were slippery and we touched all the bat guano and there was like dirty water and my socks were all wet and YUCK!!!! But it was cool la.. We saw some bats and we were all like squeezing through all the rocks and stuff. I cut my hand and my knee and I think i scratched my butt while sliding down a rock... I'm serious! Haha... The Orange Asli village was quite cool too! The showed us how they made fire and how to shoot with the blow-pipe! After that, we were all desperate for a bath! That night, Nadzirah, Farhana and I bunked in the boys. Even Sonny gossiped with us! So that night, Gary, Khalis, Fikri, Nadzirah, Farhana, Jun Wang, Benjamin, Sonny and I were all talking about everything and anything we could think of! We even had a debate on how Sonny dresses and the way he walks but in the end, we lost the debate... haha...

The next day, which was the last day, we had a boat ride on the rapids! We took two boats and Bob kept on splashing water on us! We were shivering because of the really cold water! And every time the other boat came beside us, we would splash water all over them and vice versa! It was so fun! The worst part was, water kept on going in my ear! The same ear!! Until now, I can't hear properly in my right ear! We took a break somewhere near the rocks where we all played in the water... And our tour guide showed us how to make make-up with rocks!! Haha, he did a face painting for me too! After that, we all washed up, packed up and we were on our way back to Jerantut...

Nothing much in Jerantut though... We just went to a small departmental store and bought some stuff... Then we hung out at the hostel and talked will 1 in the morning! We were all in one room and laughing like mad! It was so fun! We made our way to the train station after that... The train took a long time to come though, so we all just sat around and talked some more :P Once we were settled in the train, I slept immediately! I was sooooooo tired! I slept like a rock man... Benjamin said I kept kicking around :P Haha! I didn't even know if i was dreaming or not man... But the train was fun because it was the first time I road one... :D

Once we arrived back at Singapore, we had lunch at the station and after that, Khalis, Fikri, Nadzirah, Farhana, Gary, Benjamin and I all watched Kung Fu Panda!!! Even before the movie started, we were all laughing! And we all brought in our back-packs man! The whole cinema were starting at us! The movie was really good by the way, those who haven't caught it, go and watch it! Its really funny!

After that we all went home! Finally! I slept like from 6pm all the way to 8am! That's how tired I was! Oh, and the pictures will be posted out on my Flickr real soon so don't worry! I still have to compile all the photos and burn them into one CD. Then Gary will make a PowerPoint slide to show the rest of the class what they have missed! So be prepared for some serious laughter and many many un-glam photos!
